Hand-Tufted Area Rugs & Carpets

Hand tufted rugs (also called hand made) are produced by punching individual yarns through a fabric sheet using a device called a “tufting gun”. Once the rug has been completed a second fabric is glued to the back to hold the yarns in place. Hand tufted rugs require more time to produce, generally contain higher quality materials and can be more detailed. These rugs are most commonly used in high end residential and hospitality sectors.

The modern Axminster-type power loom is capable of weaving high quality carpets with many varying colours and patterns, and is manufactured all over the world. Due to their hard-wearing and durable nature, Axminster carpets are most frequently used in Hotel Corridors, Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms and Pre-Function Areas.

Printed carpet is created through specialized Chromo-Jet machines which apply pattern to a white ‘greige’ tufted carpet surface by injecting dye through high pressure jet heads, achieving optimal dye penetration for outstanding color and design clarity. This allows for the freedom to create inspired, unique carpet designs with high definitions. This product is most suitable for 3 Star Hotels and fast-paced projects with time constraints on production & delivery.
